Open Studios 2021 was so much fun!

  • New paintings and ceramic sculptures and a commission in work on my easel !
  • Thank you Robin for all of your assistance at Open Studios this year and your wonderful friendship!
  • I like to paint expressing the different styles that want to express through me. In particular this painting celebrates color, dynamic energy and Spirit! ‘Night Dancers II’ , size 22 X 28, sold in the first hour of my show. What a delight it is for me to know that this painting is loved so much! Thank you Dorothy!
Thank you everyone for coming out to Open Studios this year! I met so many lovely people, many of my artworks are now in their new homes and recent commissions are now under way! Truly it was a wonderful event!
My friend and client is happy with her commission well under way of her three beautiful Fox Hounds.

About Janet

" I Paint animals to honor the quiet, soulful bond they share with us- and with each other. Working in Oil on Canvas or Charcoal, I blend realism with abstract elements to capture not just what they look like, but who they are. Each brushstroke is a reflection of connection, emotion, and the timeless wisdom that animals carry. My work invites a pause - a moment to feel the deeper threads that unite all living beings, and to remind us of our own joyful presence.
